Privacy Policy
Who this policy covers#
This policy explains how The Howard Infinity Trust (“the Trust”,
“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through
hi-trust.org. The Trust is a private family trust and does not offer
products or services to the public.
What we collect#
The Trust collects only what you choose to send it.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and message, and optionally your organization.
- Security and delivery data. Our hosting provider processes standard request data, including IP address, to deliver the site and block abuse.
The Trust does not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, does not build visitor profiles, and does not use cookies for advertising.
Why we use it#
- To read and answer your message.
- To confirm, where appropriate, that the Trust is a real and active organization for a service provider verifying it.
- To keep the site available and protect it from abuse and spam.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Text messages (SMS)#
The Trust operates a low-volume messaging program that sends automated account and status notifications to the account owner's own mobile number. It is not a public subscription service. There is no public sign-up form, and the Trust does not message anyone who has not personally and directly consented.
- How consent is given. Directly and in person by the account owner. Consent is never assumed, never purchased, and is not a condition of anything.
- What we send. Automated account and status notifications only. The Trust does not send marketing or promotional messages.
- Message frequency. Message frequency may vary.
- Cost. Msg and data rates may apply.
- To stop. Reply STOP at any time. The keywords STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. One confirmation is sent, and then no further messages.
- To get help. Reply HELP.
- To resume. Reply START, YES or UNSTOP.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. This exclusion covers text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third party.
Who we share it with#
The Trust does not sell personal information and does not share it for anyone else's marketing. Information is shared only with the service providers that operate this site on our behalf, and only so far as they need it:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and spam protection for the contact form.
- Pushover — delivering contact form submissions to the Trust's administration as a notification.
- Telnyx — delivery of the Trust's own account notification text messages.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
How long we keep it#
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns and to maintain the Trust's records, then deleted. Records of text-message consent and opt-out are kept for as long as required to evidence compliance.
Security#
The site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to the resulting correspondence is restricted to the Trust's administration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices#
You may ask the Trust what personal information it holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent to text messages at any time (by replying STOP, or by asking us). Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Use the contact form and we will respond.
Children#
This site is not directed to children, and the Trust does not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Changes#
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
